November 22 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange closed the first trading day of the week in green territory, with oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
NIS' shares rose 1.15% to 617 dinars, generating a turnover of 1.75 million dinars, as no blue-chip members closed the session down.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.42% at 812.07 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.25% at 1,683.59.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 9.8 million dinars ($94,300/83,300 euro) on Monday, up from 4.8 million dinars on Friday, as 115 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 3.0 million dinars.
