June 29 (SeeNews) - Industrial chemicals maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices closed up, bourse data showed.
A total of 107 Messer Tehnogas shares changed hands in a turnover of 1.6 million dinars. Messer Tehnogas closed up 3.21% at 14,966 dinars.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover of 11.5 million dinars among the blue-chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.44% at 839.27 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.41% at 1,690.11.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 21.4 million dinars ($192,700/182,200 euro) on Wednesday, up from 12.3 million dinars on Tuesday, as 112 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 194,350 dinars.
