BELGRADE (Serbia), July 6 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices edged up, bourse data showed.
A total of 107 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 1.2 million dinars. NIS closed up 0.17% at 599 dinars.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover of 4.7 million dinars among the blue-chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.03% at 844.08 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.02% at 1,688.22.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 10.3 million dinars ($89,300/87,700 euro) on Wednesday, down from 19.5 million dinars on Tuesday, as 48 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 392,000 dinars.
