August 3 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices edged up, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,034 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 2.7 million dinars. NIS closed up 0.15% at 1,325 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover of 3.4 million dinars among the blue-chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.01% at 841.27 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.01% at 1,693.90.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 15.3 million dinars ($132,200/130,400 euro) on Wednesday, down from 1.987 billion dinars on Tuesday, as 97 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 7.9 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 3.6 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange.
