October 5 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices rose on Tuesday amid higher turnover, bourse data showed.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.22% at 802.65 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.17% at 1,690.11.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] gained most in share value on Tuesday, as its shares ended the session up 1.69% at 1,860 dinars. Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was another notable winner, with shares closing 0.50% higher at 605 dinars.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] was the sole decliner among the members of the two indices. Its shares lost 2.01% and closed at 3,323 dinars.
The total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange went up to 6.3 million dinars (53,600 euro/$62,200) on Tuesday from 2.3 million dinars generated on Monday.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.4 million dinars.
