December 27 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices went up on Monday, supported by gains in oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS], bourse data showed.
NIS' shares closed at 633 dinars on Monday, up 0.48% from the previous trading day, data showed.
NIS also dominated the daily bourse turnover, as its shares switched hands in transactions worth a total of 1.9 million dinars.
Earlier in the day, the board of directors of NIS approved the company's business plans for 2022, envisaging investments worth 25 billion dinars.
The total trading turnover on the bourse went down to 2.3 million dinars ($22,100/19,600 euro) on Monday from 509.7 million dinars generated on Friday.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 50,045 dinars. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 284,474 dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Monday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.10% at 828.99 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.05% at 1,699.60.
