August 23 (SeeNews) - The share indices on the Belgrade Stock Exchange recovered on Friday, with blue-chip lender Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] generating the highest daily turnover, bourse data showed.
Komercijalna Banka rose by 1.28% to 3,241 dinars in a turnover of 17.8 million dinars.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers on Friday, adding 4.33% to 3,350 dinars in a volume of 41.
Engineering holding firm Energoprojekt Holding [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip losers, dropping 2.43% to 683 dinars in a volume of 63 shares.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, rose by 0.11% to 751.13 points, after declining 0.33% on Thursday.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, gained 0.13% to 1,584.42 on Friday, after shedding 0.19% in the previous trading session.
The total trading turnover on the Belgrade bourse declined to 33.7 million dinars ($316,200/285,700 euro) on Friday, from 37.1 million dinars on Thursday when trading company Hempro [BEL:HMBG] generated 21.6 million dinars of the total turnover, while its shares jumped 30% to 666 dinars.
On Friday, Hempro advanced 12.6% to 750 dinars in 9,000 dinars turnover, following news that two of its owners, PET packaging producer Ekstra-Pet and local individual Zvonko Gobeljic, are going to launch soon a buyout bid for the remaining 10.3% of the trading company they do not own yet.
Trading on the bourse's multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 893,800 dinars on Friday, slightly up from 840,700 dinars on Thursday.
