March 22 (SeeNews) - The share indices on the Belgrade Stock Exchange lost ground on Wednesday, as Fintel Energija [BEL:FINT], the Serbian subsidiary of Italy's Fintel Energia Group, paced the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Fintel Energija closed 2.59% lower at 640 dinars in a volume of 141 shares.
Industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] shed 1% reaching 13,300 dinars.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of 2,121 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 2.5 million dinars. Dunav closed 1.01% higher to 1,199 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.26% lower at 894.64 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed 0.24% down at 1,798.01.
The bourse's total trading turnover went up to 15 million dinars ($137,800/127,500 euro) from 6.1 million dinars on Tuesday.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 4.3 million dinars of the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
