October 18 (SeeNews) - Belgrade's stock indices ended up on Tuesday, as turnover dropped, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, tracking the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, increased 0.84% to 645.71 after edging up 0.03% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline index rose 0.31% to 1,451.38 after dropping 0.01% in the previous trading session.
Total turnover dropped to 219.9 million dinars ($2 million/1.8 million euro) from 693.9 million dinars on Monday.
Lender Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] was the biggest blue chip gainer, adding 2.44% to 1,638 dinars with 110 shares changing hands.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] paced the blue chip losers, shedding 2.03% to 1,400 dinars as 33 shares were sold.
Oil and gas firm NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most traded blue-chip company with a daily turnover of 8 million dinars. It's stock closed up 0.5% at 609 dinars.
