December 1 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices edged up on Wednesday, supported by gains in oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] and Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO], bourse data showed.
NIS' shares closed at 618 dinars on Wednesday, up 0.65% from the previous trading day, whereas Aerodrom's shares advanced 0.09% to a closing price of 1,152 dinars, data showed.
NIS also dominated the daily bourse turnover, as its shares switched hands in transactions worth a total of 1.4 million dinars.
Industrial chemicals maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] paced the blue-chip decliners, with shares going down 0.65% to 15,800 dinars on Wednesday.
The total trading turnover on the bourse went up to 445.8 million dinars ($4.3 million/3.8 million euro) on Wednesday from 8.3 million dinars generated on Tuesday.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.9 million dinars. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 440.5 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.08% at 810.76 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.01% at 1,680.95.
