September 29 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.08% higher at 886.89 points on Friday, as aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL: IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Impol's shares closed 1.75% higher at 5,800 dinars.
At the same time, cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the blue-chip decliners, shedding 1.06% at 1,580 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of 6,445 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 4.7 million dinars. NIS closed 0.82% higher at 736 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index went up 0.56% to 1,835.02 points.
The total turnover on the Belgrade bourse rose to 12.1 million dinars ($109,700/103,400 euro) on Friday from 4.6 million dinars on Thursday. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 410,296 dinars of Friday's turnover.
Between September 25 and September 29, the BELEX15 went down 0.13%, while the BELEXline rose 0.45%. Total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange fell to 634.8 million dinars this week, from 895 million dinars last week.
