March 29 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade bourse closed 0.29% lower at 889.26 points on Wednesday, after shedding 0.26% a day earlier, bourse data showed.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] paced the blue-chip losers, falling 0.96% to 1,131 dinars, Belgrade Stock Exchange data showed.
There were no gainers among the BELEX15 components on Wednesday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL: NIIS] once again generated the largest turnover on the bourse on Wednesday. A total of 530 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 403,656 dinars. NIS closed flat at 762 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.16% to 1,789.62.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 7.4 million dinars ($68,400/62,800 euro), up from 3.9 million dinars on Tuesday, as 63 transactions were carried out. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 4.2 million of the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
