June 20 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange plans to remove lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] from its blue-chip index BELEX15 as of June 30, it said.
Komercijalna banka will drop out of BELEX15 as part of a regular revision of the index, the Belgrade Stock Exchange said in a statement last week.
The Belgrade Stock Exchange has also approved the exclusion of Komercijalna banka, Gosa Montaza [BEL:GMON] and Voda Vrnjci [BEL:VDAV] from the free-float market capitalisation weighted index BELEXline.
Last month, Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] plans to launch a squeeze-out of the shares in Belgrade-based Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] it does not own yet. NLB reached the threshold for the obligatory squeezing of minority shareholders in Komercijalna on May 23, when it acquired 442,799 ordinary shares in Komercijalna banka and expanded its share in the Belgrade-based lender to 90.2%.
After the revision, the BELEX15 index will have 10 members, while BELEXline will have 33.
