March 15 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade bourse closed 0.28% lower at 892.05 points on Wednesday, as trading in Treasury bonds boosted the daily turnover, bourse data showed.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the decliners on Wednesday, closing 2.19% down at 759. A total of 55,580 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 42.2 million dinars.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] was the only blue-chip gainer on Wednesday, closing up 0.70% at 1,863 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index went down 0.22% at 1,792.73.
The bourse's total trading turnover amounted to 160.2 million dinars ($1.4 million/1.4 million euro) up from 13.7 million dinars on Tuesday, as 121 transactions were carried out.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 112.1 million of the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
