March 28 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade bourse closed 0.26% lower at 891.87 points on Tuesday, with insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] pacing the decliners, bourse data showed.
Dunav shares fell 2.39% to 1,142 dinars, Belgrade Stock Exchange data showed.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL: MTLC] was the only blue-chip gainer on Tuesday. Metalac closed 1.85% higher at 1,650 dinars in a volume of 50 shares.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL: NIIS] generated the largest turnover on the bourse on Tuesday. A total of 617 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 469,810 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.13% to 1,792.56.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 3.9 million dinars ($36,500/33,650 euro), up from 3.4 million dinars on Monday, as 109 transactions were carried out. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.2 million of the total turnover on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
