March 30 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade bourse closed 0.10% lower at 888.41 points on Thursday, extending its losing streak to a third day, bourse data showed.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] paced the blue-chip losers, falling 1.82% to 1,620 dinars, Belgrade Stock Exchange data showed.
Industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] was the only blue-chip gainer on Thursday, closing 1.80% higher at 13,500 dinars in a volume of eleven shares.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL: NIIS] generated the highest turnover. A total of 7,009 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 5.3 million dinars. NIS closed flat at 762 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.03% to 1,789.03.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 7.3 million dinars ($67,600/62,000 euro), down from 7.4 million dinars on Tuesday, as 63 transactions were carried out. No Treasury bonds were traded on Thursday.
