January 13 (SeeNews) - Belgian real estate developer VGP plans to begin the construction of a warehouse in Nis, in southern Serbia, by the end of 2023, local media reported.
“VGP owns around 150,000 sq m of space in the industrial zone, of which 68,000 sq m will be taken up by facilities,” Nis mayor Dragana Sotirovski said, as quoted by Juzne vesti.
The project documentation is still being prepared, she added.
VGP owns, manages and develops logistics and semi-industrial real estate, operating across 19 European countries.
It recorded a net profit of 650 million euro ($704.5 million) in 2021, according to data published on the company's website.
