September 26 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.88% lower at 881.28 points on Tuesday, as cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] paced the decliners, bourse data showed.
Metalac closed 6.47% lower at 1,403 dinars. A total of 4,818 Metalac shares changed hands generating the day's largest turnover of 6.8 million dinars.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] lost 0.60% to 988 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the only blue-chip gainer, closing 0.55% higher at 730 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.60% to 1,812.96.
The total turnover on the Belgrade bourse rose to 24.7 million dinars ($223,500/210,500 euro) on Tuesday from 17 million dinars on Monday. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 9.8 million dinars of Tuesday's turnover.
