June 6 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.30% lower at 901.43 points on Tuesday, as trading in Treasury bonds boosted the total turnover, bourse data showed.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the decliners, closing 1.18% lower at 840 dinars, Belgrade Stock Exchange data showed. A total of 2,072 NIS shares changed hands, generating the day's largest turnover of 1.7 million dinars.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] was the only blue-chip gainer on Tuesday, closing 0.05% higher at 2,001 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.02% to 1,807.12 points.
The bourse's total trading turnover soared to 206.1 million dinars ($1.9 million/1.8 million euro) from 53.8 million dinars on Monday. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 201.2 million dinars of Tuesday's turnover.
