May 24 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade bourse rose on Wednesday after declining for three straight trading sessions, as oil and gas company NIS [BEL: NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.

NIS closed 1.87% higher at 816 dinars.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL: DNOS] was the only blue-chip loser on Wednesday, closing 1.60% lower at 1,043 dinars. A total of 2,511 Dunav shares changed hands, generating the day's largest turnover of 2.6 million dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.05% higher at 1,807.93.
The bourse's total turnover increased to 5.1 million dinars ($47,100/43,700 euro) from 3.5 million dinars on Tuesday. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.2 million dinars of Wednesday's turnover.
