December 2 (SeeNews) - Total trading turnover of Bosnia's Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) came in at nearly 10 million marka ($5.8 million/5.1 million euro) in November, compared with 11 million marka in October, the bourse said on Thursday.
Equity turnover from regular trading on the BLSE totalled 1 million marka in November, down from 2.2 million marka in the prior month, the bourse said in a monthly report.
The BLSE's total trading turnover amounted to 22.8 million marka in November 2020.
A total of 610 transactions were concluded on the Banja Luka bourse in November, compared with 478 in the previous month and 940 transactions in November 2020.
The BLSE's total market capitalisation amounted to 4.1 billion marka in November, flat compared with October and up compared with 4 billion marka in November 2020.
The BLSE’s benchmark index, the BIRS, closed at 673.28 points at the end of November, up 6.30% compared to the end-October value and 17.49% higher compared with its closing value at the end of November 2020.
Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] contributed the largest portion of November's total trading turnover among the companies on the BLSE, of 727,422 marka. The telco's shares closed at 1.39 marka at the end of November, up from 1.30 marka at the end of October.
The BLSE is based in the Serb Republic, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) is based in the other entity, the Federation.
