PODGORICA (Montenegro), January 20 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's government said that it has signed a 19.2 million euro ($21.3 million) road rehabilitation contract with Austria's Strabag.

The project for the overhaul of the road connecting Rozaje to the border with Serbia, will be completed within 24 months and will be financed through a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Montenegrin government said in a statement on Friday.

In November 2017, Montenegro's government said it approved a 40 million euro loan from the EBRD, to be used to finance the reconstruction of the 20 km long road connecting Rozaje to the border with Serbia, the construction of two additional lanes at each of the 16 km Tivat-Jaz and the 15.5 km Podgorica-Danilovgrad roads.
