This year, Sarajevo Business Forum will be held on April 25 and 26 in Sarajevo (BiH). It will feature numerous attractive topics for businessmen from the region as well as for potential investors from different parts of the world who are expected to participate in the most important business and investment conference in the region.
During both days of the Forum, there will be discussions about European integration and creation of a more favorable business climate for the cooperation between the regional countries and the European Union as the most important trading partner of the companies from the South-East Europe. The issue of strengthening the regional industry and becoming an equal partner of the EU will be discussed by the leaders of successful regional and global companies, representatives of institutions working on empowering the economies of European countries, representatives of the chambers of economy, statesmen and representatives of governments of the EU member states and those which want to become one of them.
Connecting the countries of the Southeast Europe with the rest of the world and establishing infrastructure that will facilitate creation of economic and other ties are some of the topics that guests and participants from Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, as well as representatives of the EU member states will discuss with the regional officials and businessmen. During the thematic round table sessions that will take place on the first day of the Forum special attention will be paid to women entrepreneurship and the necessity of its promotion and strengthening in the regional countries.
Potential offered by investing in projects in the field of tourism as the economic sector which records high growth rates in the regional countries and is predicted to continue its strong expansion in the future, will be discussed during the second day of the Forum. The panel participants will discuss the development of tourist infrastructure and the possibilities of cooperation and joint presentation of the regional countries in order to allow for more efficient presentation and utilization of the potential offered by entire region.
The Forum organizers will make it possible to discuss topics related to information technologies, digital economy and digital transformation of business, creation of suitable conditions for the development of innovations and their application for the purpose of optimizing and improving the workflow in all economic sectors, as well as topics that deal with the necessity of education reform in accordance with the needs of the market.
On the second day of the Forum, the participants will be presented with the model of economic development of Dubai, which will be done in cooperation with the Dubai Exports government agency and other partners from the United Arab Emirates.
In addition to the businessmen, Sarajevo Business Forum will also gather representatives of the creative industries, successful individuals from the field of sports, culture and arts from BiH and the region, who promote their countries at the global level not only in the fields they are active in, but in those which allow them to act as important promoters when it comes to establishing ties and promoting the potential for investments in the countries they come from. During the roundtable session, the participants will discuss the role of diaspora and the potential of investing in their homelands with the help of platforms and projects that have been developed in order to transform the emotions and remittances from abroad into investments that can be used for establishing companies and creating new jobs.
Identification of areas for intensive cooperation between the Asian countries and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), and the mutual application of successful practices will be discussed at the panel which will host representatives of companies, state institutions, universities and non-governmental organizations from Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, India ... as well as the RCC countries - Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia.
In addition to the panels and thematic round table sessions, the participants of the 9th Sarajevo Business Forum will have the opportunity to present their projects and business ideas and get acquainted with the potential for business development offered by round tables and business and informal meetings.
