November 19 (SeeNews) - The main share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Friday on gains in shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL], bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 21-share benchmark CROBEX closed at 1,994.26 points, up 0.12% from Wednesday, ZSE data showed.
Thursday was a public and market holiday in Croatia.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the top 10 Crobex components in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, edged up 0.02% to finish at 1,222.31 points on Friday.
Shares of Atlantska Plovidba generated the biggest daily turnover on the ZSE on Friday, of 1.2 million kuna ($181,000/160,000 euro). They were also the biggest daily gainer as their price surged 6.74% to close at 380 kuna.
Index-heavyweight preferred shares of holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] declined 0.71% to end at 417 kuna in a turnover of 493,000 kuna.
The ZSE's total turnover fell to 5.0 million kuna on Friday from 14.5 million kuna on Wednesday.
