December 18 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Wednesday, as shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] paced the blue-chip losers, ZSE data showed.
Atlantska's shares closed at 386 kuna, down 2.77%.
Diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] paced the blue-chip gainers, ending a three-day losing streak. Its shares closed 4.03% higher at 5.16 kuna.
Food producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue chips - 1.2 million kuna. The company's shares rose 0.64% to 471 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover plummeted to 5.3 million kuna ($791,393/711,322 euro) from 13.6 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index fell 0.30% to 2,009.26 on Wednesday, after rising 0.14% on Tuesday.
The narrower of ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.19% to 1,190.62 after adding 0.06% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.02% to 115.9468.
