December 5 (SeeNews) - Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL-R-A] topped the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Atlantska Plovidba's shares closed 4.4% higher at 427.0 kuna.
Hotel group Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover of 1.9 million kuna. The company closed down 1.47% at 33.60 kuna.
Croatia's Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price decreased by 3.11% to 1.56 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover rose to 44.3 million kuna ($6.8 million/6 million euro) on Wednesday from 10.6 million kuna on Tuesday.
The bourse was boosted on Tuesday by a block trade in Valamar Riviera's shares, totalling 2 million kuna.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE rose 0.24% to 1,741.04 points, after going up 0.27% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 0.36% to 1,022.14 points, after increasing 0.13% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.07% to 111.3881 points.
