March 20 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Friday, as shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] led the blue-chip gainers, ZSE data showed.
Atlantska's shares rose by 8.33% to 162.5 kuna on Friday.
Diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] paced the blue-chip losers on Friday, as its share price fell 3.57% to 2.70 kuna.
Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] recorded the highest trading turnover among the blue chips on Friday - of 6.75 million kuna. The company's shares closed 4.21% higher at 19.80 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 24.2 million kuna ($3.4 million/3.2 million euro) on Friday, from 37.7 million kuna on Thursday.
The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose by 2.47% to 1,407.45 after falling 1.04% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 2.98% to 868.56 after dropping 0.58% on Thursday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index lost 0.26% to 111.3598.
