August 21 (SeeNews) - The assets of investment funds operating in Bulgaria grew by an annual 18.4% to 4.455 billion levs ($2.53 billion/2.78 billion euro) at the end of June, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said on Wednesday.
Compared to the end of March, the assets of investment funds operating in the country were 7.3% higher at the end of June, the central bank said in a press release.
The assets of resident investment funds increased 17.8% year-on-year to 1.618 billion levs at the end of June, while the assets of non-resident funds rose to 2.837 billion levs at the end of June from 2.591 billion levs a year earlier.
