August 12 (SeeNews) - Payment solutions provider Payten has acquired 100% of Croatia's Castrobit Grc Grupa, a developer of software solutions for hospitality, trade and financial businesses, the Croatian company said.
"The acquisition is a confirmation of Payten's development strategy to offer the best complete technological solutions in the payment area to companies from the services sector," Gastrobit Grc Grupa said in a statement on Tuesday.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
Gastrobit has been active for more than 20 years as one of the leading payment solutions providers in Croatia, developing programmes, applications and enterprise resource planning systems for hospitality firms, retailers, wholesalers, as well as for manufacturing, accounting and financial companies.
In June, Payten acquired 76% of Croatian firm Integrirani Poslovni Sustavi, operating under the Remaris brand, in a bid to round out its offer of software payment solutions in the HoReCa segment.
Remaris offers comprehensive software solutions for managing business and cash registers in cafés, restaurants and clubs. Apart from Croatia, it is also present in Slovenia and Bosnia.
Payten is part of Asseco SEE, the Southeast Europe-focused branch of Polish ICT solutions provider Asseco Group.
Payten says it is one of the ten leading producers of software equipment in Europe, and has significantly expanded its business by acquiring a range of payment technological solutions companies in Europe and beyond in the past 20 months.
