April 20 (SeeNews) - Polish IT group Asseco has said it signed a contract to implement an electronic customer service office based on the AUMS Digital platform for Serbian state-run power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS).
The implementation of AUMS Digital is aimed primarily at improving the quality of customer service, offering new products, carrying out modern integration with many different IT systems used by customers and making a decisive step towards building a two-speed architecture (BIOMODAL), Asseco said in a statement earlier this week.
The project will be implemented over a period of one year by a consortium of Asseco Poland, Asseco South Eastern Europe d.o.o. Beograd and Chip Card a.d. Beograd, the company said.
"The main task of AUMS Digital is to integrate the products of the energy companies with the services of external partners, also from outside the energy sector. This ensures an increase in sales and gives the opportunity to expand the offer," the Director of the Energy and Gas Division of Asseco Poland, Tomasz Bendlewski, said in the statement.
Asseco AUMS Digital allows energy companies to implement their omnichannel strategy and to offer their customers products and services through various channels of contact, and to include them in the operation process, optimising and automating various other processes, Asseco said.
The Polish company provides solutions that allow for a measurable reduction in operating costs, improvement of functioning and increase of competitiveness of companies from the energy sector. It also implements projects aimed at centralisation and migration of large volumes of data.
