March 10 (SeeNews) - Romanian consumer goods distribution Aquila [BSE:AQ] entered the BET and BET-TR indices of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), the bourse said on Thursday.
The new structures of BVB indices will become effective starting with March 21, BVB said in a press release.
Aquila shares will also be part of the following indices: BET-TRN, BET-XT, BET-XT-TR, BET-XT-TRN, BET-BK and BET Plus.
The inclusion of Aquila in the BET and BET-TR indices takes place three months after the company’s listing on the main market, from November 29. The listing took place after the successful conclusion of an Initial Public Offering (IPO) worth 367 million lei ($82 million/ 74 million euro), the largest IPO conducted so far by an entrepreneurial company on the Romanian capital market. The company's capitalisation is 1 billion lei.
Aquila was established in November 1994 as an entity specialized in integrated services of distribution of consumer goods and logistics. Since 2001, the company has expanded in Moldova by setting up the distribution company Trigor AVD.
Aquila's shares were trading 2.57% higher at 0.87 lei on Thursday at 1304CET on the BVB.
