June 3 (SeeNews) - Lithuanian hospitality services operator Apex Alliance Hotel Management said on Wednesday that it will reopen its Bucharest hotels this month under strict sanitary safety rules, focusing mainly on domestic tourism.
Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town and Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Airport hotels will reopen on June 5, while Courtyard Bucharest Floreasca will reopen on June 15, Apex Alliance Hotel Management said in a press release.
The three hotels will focus on domestic tourism in 2020, promoting special offers for city breaks or short stays in Bucharest, and will also target business travelers.
Hotels will reopen under the concept of 'Centers for Traveler Safety & Wellbeing', each with appointed dedicated managers for health and safety, in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
"The recovery of the hospitality sector is essential for the Romanian economy, and we make every effort to carry out our role in this responsibly. We are very pleased that we have brought our teams together to reopen the hotels, especially as we have made efforts to save as many jobs as possible in recent months," Apex Alliance Hotel Management CEO Gerhard Erasmus said.
The hotels managed by Apex Alliance Hotel Management in Bucharest offer a total of 678 rooms.
Apex Alliance Hotel Management is an independent operator which focuses on establishing and developing longstanding partnerships with institutional investors, property owners or private equity funds while providing the management services to their existing or future hotels.
