BUCHAREST (Romania), June 4 (SeeNews) – International technology group Andritz said on Tuesday it has received an order from Romanian industrial group MG TEC Industry for two complete tissue production lines with stock preparation for their mill in Dej, in Cluj county.
Start-up for the production lines is scheduled for 2020 and 2022, respectively, Andritz said in a press release.
The tissue machines have a design speed of 1,900 m per minute and pumps with efficiencies of up to 90% enable long life cycles at highest cost-effectiveness, the group said.
Andritz is an international technology group providing plants, systems, equipment, and services for various industries such as hydropower, pulp and paper, metal working and steel and solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial segments. The group is headquartered in Graz, Austria and has over 29,000 employees in over 40 countries worldwide.
MG-TEC Industry is a Romanian group of companies established in 1993 by businessman Ioan Tecar with activities in the field of metallurgical products, insulating and plastering products, construction and construction materials, PVC and aluminium windows and doors, service and car parts as well as insurance.The group includes Samus Tec, Metalicplas Activ, Termo Tec, Izo Tec, Expo Autotec and Atlantic Broker.
In March, Romanian state-owned savings bank CEC said it is lending 48 million euro ($53.9 million) to MG TEC Industry for the construction of a new production unit. The new plant will produce absorbent and sanitary household products from paper and cellulose.
The total value of the project is 80 million euro, out of which 32 million euro will be provided by the finance ministry under the state aid scheme.
