August 13 (SeeNews) - American Airlines is introducing daily flights between Philadelphia and Croatia's Dubrovnik in the 2020 summer season, data by the company showed on Tuesday.
The daily flights from Philadelphia will commence on June 4, 2020 and the return flights from Dubrovnik will begin on the next day, data published in the American Airlines' website indicated on Tuesday.
In June this year, the air carrier introduced seasonal direct flights between the two cities, thus linking Croatia and the US for the first time after almost 30 years.
This summer the Philadelphia-Dubrovnik flights are taking place three times a week until the end of September. Their frequency is expected to increase to four weekly flights during that month.
In terms of tourist numbers, the US market is the second most strategic market for the Adriatic city of Dubrovnik after Great Britain.
