ANKARA (Turkey), February 24 (SeeNews) - Turkish computer software firm DataRow said it has been acquired by US IT service management company Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of e-commerce giant Amazon.com.

As an AWS company, DataRow is looking to further develop its tool that facilitates data exploration and visualisation for data analysts in Amazon Redshift, the acquired company said in a statement on its website.

DataRow was the first tech startup acquired by Amazon in Turkey, Can Abacigil, co-founder of DataRow, said on its Linkedin profile last week.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Set up in 2017, DataRow offers a data productivity tool for cloud data warehouse Amazon Redshift that simplifies access to Amazon Redshift data and provides management and monitoring for Amazon Redshift and related AWS services.
