March 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian investment company Alpha Bulgaria [BUL:ALFB] said on Thursday that its warrant holders decided to exercise their rights under a warrant issue, paving the way for a capital increase.
The decision was approved at a general meeting of warrant holders held on February 28, Alpha Bulgaria said in a stock exchange filing.
Warrant holders also discussed Alpha’s plans to use the proceeds from the capital increase resulting from the exercise of warrants to finance its investment programme.
The meeting was held at the request of warrant holder Theresien Hausverwaltung.
Alpha Bulgaria has issued 194.89 million warrants, each providing its owner with rights to subscribe for one Alpha Bulgaria share at a price of 1 lev within a five-year period. Theresien holds 127.05 million warrants, representing 65.19% of the issue.
