June 13 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in the red on Monday, with the blue-chip SOFIX retreating the most, by 0.80% to 615.09 points, bourse data showed.
IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] weighed on both the benchmark index and on the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. Allterco dropped 3.47% to 18.10 levs in a trading volume of 208 shares.
The BGTR30 closed 0.60% lower at 733.98 points.
A 14.29% jump in Petrol [BUL:PET] to 0.24 levs was not sufficient to keep the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, from declining 0.62% to 143.79 points.
The BGBX40's weak performance was compounded by a 3.77% loss in bourse operator Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSE]. The BSE erased 3.77% of its stock value, closing at 10.20 levs as 3,420 shares were traded.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA] was the most liquid stock on Monday, generating 1.08 million levs ($575,950/552,200 euro), or over 43% of the daily total on the Sofia bourse. Total turnover reached 2.5 million levs, up from 1.49 million levs on Friday.
Sopharma closed 0.44% lower at 4.48 levs as 241,580 company shares were bought and sold. Earlier on Monday, the pharmaceuticals company announced that it will buy back 224,000 of its shares at a price of 4.50 levs apiece.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, erased 0.52% to 178.28 points, as Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:BREF] shed 1.69% to 2.32 levs in a trading volume of 2,000 shares.
