July 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian telecommunications and IoT company Allterco [BUL:4AL] led gainers on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Thursday, adding 6.25% to a closing price of 2.72 levs.
On Wednesday, Allterco said that it expects to wrap up its 7.9 million euro deal for the sale of five of its telecommunications subsidiaries to Norway's LINK Mobility Group on July 29.
The deal concerns Allterco's units in Bulgaria - Teravoice, Tera Communications and Allterpay, as well as its Romania-based subsidiary Teracomm RO and Macedonia-based Tera Communications DOOEL. With the sale, Allterco is divesting its entire telecommunications portfolio and will focus on its IoT subsidiaries.
Allterco is a member of the Sofia bourse BGBX40 index, which closed the session 0.06% higher at 115.26 points.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.48% to 583.45 points on Thursday. Diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] and its largest shareholder - drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] led gainers among SOFIX members, adding 3.90% and 2.10%, respectively.
Doverie United Holding and Sopharma also led gainers among the components of the BGTR30 index, which closed 0.21% lower. The BGTR30 was hit by a 7.04% decrease in the share price of Aktiv Properties REIT [BUL:5AX].
The drop in Aktiv Properties REIT shares also dragged the BGREIT index 0.24% lower at 126.91 points.
Total trading turnover remained low, at some 165,000 levs on Thursday.
