November 17 (SeeNews) - The share price of all blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange dropped on Thursday, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks, closed 1.22% lower at 704.51 points after edging down 0.19% the day before.
The share price of drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG], which have the largest weight in the index, decreased by 1.26% to 56.39 euro and by 1.22% to 306.05 euro, respectively.
Earlier on Thursday, Krka announced its consolidated net profit plummeted 40% year-on-year to 80.3 million euro in the first nine months.
Krka generated the biggest daily turnover of 782,700 euro, followed by Petrol with 481,000 euro.
Household appliances manufacturer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] fell the most on Thursday, closing 3.33% lower at 5.8 euro.
Gorenje announced last week that Japan's Panasonic Corporation had decided not to increase its 10.74% stake in the company. On the first day of trading after the decision Gorenje share price fell by more than 30%.
Total bourse turnover rose to 2.1 million euro, after increasing to 1.75 million euro on Wednesday.
