February 21 (SeeNews) - Household appliances maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade bourse on Tuesday, as share indices ended mixed, stock exchange data showed.
Alfa plam won 1.43% on Tuesday and closed at 35,500 dinars in a turnover of 603,500 dinars, as just 17 shares changed hands in a single transaction. The company generated the fourth largest turnover on the Belgrade bourse on Tuesday. No Alfa plam shares changed hands on Monday.
Civil engineering company Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] generated a share turnover of 3.88 million euro, the highest one on the stock market on Tuesday, as 3,070 of its shares changed hands in 13 transactions. The company's share price edged up 0.08% and closed at 1,264 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most traded company on the stock market on Tuesday. A total of 4,020 of its shares changed hands in 140 deals, generating a turnover of 3.0 million dinars, the second highest on the bourse.
NIS paced the blue-chip decliners, as it lost 0.27% and closed at 748 dinars on Tuesday.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, edged up 0.03% to 712.01 points. On Monday, the index added 0.27% to 711.81.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, lost 0.01% and closed Tuesday's session at 1,551.21 after edging up 0.26% to 1,551.31 on Monday.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse came in at 21.5 million dinars ($182,991/173,591 euro), the same as on Monday. A total of 427 transactions were carried out on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, compared to 418 on Monday. Trading in shares on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) segment contributed 11.9 million dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade stock market on Tuesday.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on Tuesday on the Belgrade stock market.
