May 18 (SeeNews) - Household appliances maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade stock market on Thursday, as share indices ended mixed, stock exchange data showed.
Alfa plam won 3.80% on Thursday and closed at 35,500 dinars. A total of 100 shares in the company changed hands in a single transaction, generating a turnover 3.55 million dinars.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] generated a share turnover of 6.7 million dinars, the highest on the stock market on Thursday. The company was the most traded among the blue chips, as 4,477 shares changed hands in 15 transactions. Energoprojekt paced the blue-chip losers on Thursday, after losing 4.30% to 1,401 dinars
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, declined 0.20% to 731.38 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index won 0.25% to 732.83.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.16% on Thursday and closed at 1,578.99. The index went up 0.11% to 1,576.44 on Wednesday.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 17.5 million dinars ($158,037/142,224 euro) on Thursday from 6.4 million dinars on Wednesday, as 382 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 685,788 dinars.
