March 23 (SeeNews) - Аluminium products maker Alcomet [BUL:6AM] led the list of blue-chip decliners on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Alcomet shares closed 3.27% lower at 19.250 levs as 100 units changed hands during the session.
BSE's total stock trading turnover decreased to 597,300 levs ($328,026 /304,047 euro) on Thursday, from 3.75 million levs on Wednesday.
Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the most traded blue chip on Thursday, as 315,838 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 2.105 levs apiece.
Diversified conglomerate Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] was the top gainer among the blue-chip companies on the BSE. The shares of the financial and insurance group rose by 6.13% to 32.90 levs as 100 units changed hands.
The blue-chip stock index SOFIX fell 0.06% to 639.35 points on Thursday, after adding 0.06% on Wednesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, decreased by 0.22% to 125.49 points, following an decrease of 0.14% on Wednesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, edged down 0.06% to 108.12 points, after edging up 0.01% on Wednesday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose by 0.11% to 504.79 points, after falling by 0.10% on Wednesday.
