April 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian resort operator Albena [BUL:ALB] saw its share price jump by 14.79% to 32.6 levs amid a low turnover of just 178 shares on Thursday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index grew 1.58% to 514.30 points on Thursday, as several of its other members also saw notable share price rises. IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] gained 4.92%, while software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] added 4.50%.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.96% to 116.57 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 1.44% to 560.84 points.
The BGREIT index, which follows the performance of seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.33% to 144.43 points.
Total trading turnover remained higher than usual and totalled 5.4 million levs. On Wednesday, turnover amounted to 5.2 million levs.
