SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 14 (SeeNews) – Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
Albena shares closed 1.63% higher at 61.999 levs ($37.2/31.7 euro) in a trading volume of 18 shares.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.22% to 670.66 points on Tuesday after falling 0.38% on Monday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, added 0.22% to 131.84 points, after decreasing 0.36% on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, increased 0.54% to 115.11 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index closed 0.25% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew 0.13% to 549.04 points, following a 0.38% decrease on Monday.
Total trading turnover on the regulated market of the Sofia bourse fell to 839,700 levs on Tuesday from 2.7 million levs on Monday.
Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the most traded blue-chip company, as 59,264 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 4.27 levs apiece.
Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] fell the most among blue chips on the Sofia bourse, closing 0.49% lower at 1.02 levs.
