September 27 (SeeNews) - Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Albena shares closed 3.46% higher at 64.200 levs ($38.5/32.8 euro) in a trading volume of 77 units.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.11% to 684.12 points, after adding 0.36% on Tuesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, edged up 0.03% to 132.30 points, after rising by 0.43% on Tuesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, rose 0.88% to 115.39 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index closed 0.12% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.58% to 552.38 points, following a 0.64% increase on Tuesday.
Total trading turnover on the BSE rose to 1.75 million levs on Wednesday from 721,000 levs on Tuesday.
Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the most traded blue-chip company on Wednesday, as 130,991 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 1.314 levs.
Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] fell the most among the blue chips on Wednesday, closing 2.3%% lower at 2.38 levs.
