SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 22 (SeeNews) – Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] led the blue-chip decliners on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Albena's shares closed 1.91% lower at 60.510 levs as just 5 shares changed hands.
On Wednesday power tools manufacturer Sparky Eltos [BUL:SL9] added 20.55% to 0.575 levs as 3,670 shares changed hands. A day earlier its shares rose 19.25% to 0.477 levs as the company announced earlier during the day that it intends to raise its capital to 50.2 million levs from 16.7 million levs.
Total stock trading turnover edged up to 1.26 million levs ($644,290/677,396 euro) on Tuesday, from 1.1 million levs on Tuesday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell 0.03% to 610.35 points, after increasing by 0.37% on Tuesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, remained unchanged at 119.42 points, after closing 0.34% higher on Tuesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, added 0.11% to 108.32 points. The index closed 0.10% lower on Tuesday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, closed 0.01% lower at 484.24 points, after adding 0.19% on Tuesday.
Diversified conglomerate Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] led the blue-chip gainers on Wednesday, closing 2.90% higher at 1.029 levs in a volume of 255 shares.
Fibank [BUL:5F4] was the most traded blue-chip on Wednesday as 37,115 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 3.899 levs.
