SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 8 (SeeNews) – Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] led the blue-chip decliners on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Albena closed 4.3% lower at 64.6 levs ($37/33 euro) in a trading volume of 24 shares.
Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] led the blue-chip gainers on Thursday, closing 1.23% higher at 8.149 levs as 3,000 of the company shares changed hands.
Industrial conglomerate Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue-chip on Thursday as 122,758 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 1.767 levs.
Total trading turnover fell to 1 million levs on Thursday, from 4 million levs on Wednesday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index dropped 0.54% to 677.39 points, after adding 0.78% on Wednesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, decreased 0.56% to 132.00 points, following an increase of 0.39% on Wednesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, lost 0.36% to 109.75 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index edged up 0.01%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.62% to 518.20 points, after rising 0.11% on Wednesday.
