April 4 (SeeNews) - Albania closed the fourth quarter with a current account deficit of 240.3 million euro ($256 million), compared to a shortfall of 397.7 million euro in the same quarter of 2015, according to data from the country's central bank.
The improvement was mainly driven by lower trade gap and larger surplus in the services sector.
On a quarterly comparison basis, the current account gap added 16.6%.
