TIRANA (Albania), October 28 (SeeNews) – Albanian power distributor OSHEE said it is inviting bids for the import of up to 240,000 MWh of electricity from November 1 to November 30.
The bidding deadline is October 28 and the preferred criteria will be the lowest price offered, the OSHEE said in an invitation for bids late on Friday.
Last week, OSHEE said it has reduced the losses on the transmission and distribution network to 22.5% in the first nine month of 2019, from 23.9% in the comparable period of last year.
Albania produces over 90% of its electricity at hydro power plants. Most of it is generated at three power plants along the Drin River, in the northern part of the country.
