TIRANA (Albania), July 26 (SeeNews) – Albanian power distributor OSHEE said it is inviting bids for the import of up to 141,360 MWh of electricity from August 1 to August 31.
The bidding deadline is July 26 and the preferred criteria will be the lowest price offered, the OSHEE said in an invitation for bids late on Thursday.
In April, OSHEE said it has reduced losses on the grid in the first quarter to 26.25%, from 27.71% in the same period of 2018.
Albania produces over 90% of its electricity at hydro power plants. Most of it is generated at three power plants along the Drin River, in the northern part of the country.
